Advertised as “A Plastic Surgeon’s Results without the Surgery” Skin Amnesty is a skin care product used for skin prone to hormonal and adult acne blemishes.  It was designed by a certified plastic surgeon by the name of Dr. Galumbeck.  Dr. Galumbeck conducted extensive research on the inflammatory response that causes one to age and ways to inhibit that process.

Three-part process - The Skin Amnesty skin care system is a three part process.  The three-steps and a brief description of each are found below:

1) Cleanse - The cleanse process is done with a product called the Instant Foaming Cleanser.  It contains botanical extracts.

2) Condition - The conditioning process is done with a product called Conditioning Solution.  It is used to exfoliate and tone the skin. The conditioner is also used to prepare the skin to better utilize the next process, which is the moisturizer.

3) Moisturize - Equipped with SPF 8, the Moisturizing Treatment SPF 8 works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Each of these three products comes in the form of three different formulations designed specifically for dry, normal to combo, or oily/acne prone skin.

In addition to these products, Skin Amnesty offers additional products designed for more specific conditions.

Price - Each of the above products can be purchased individually with prices ranging from $25.00 to $80.00 for each individual product.  Why the high prices?  In my personal opinion, it is difficult to have a product which is designed by a legitimate plastic surgeon marketed at an affordable price.  If it were, it would be discredited as a fluke.  Complementary to that statement the flawed notion that anything of high price is of high quality - that is not always the case. 

My recommendation - The market for skin care products is chalk full of thousands of products targeted at solving every one of your skin care needs.  It can be very confusing.  The hardest part is finding what works best for you.
