ThermaClear
Since many of the acne treatments available today require the use of pills, creams, cleansers, or other ointments which require consistent application, additional products have been created for the quicker removal of acne. ThermaClear is one of those products.
ThermaClear is basically a hand-held gadget which purportedly takes care of the infected area in as little as just a few days. ThermaClear is used solely for the treatment of pimples/acne.
Acne - Acne is caused when the hair follicles in our skin are over-congested. The substance that the hair follicles naturally produce (called sebum) is usually helpful to the skin by preventing dryness. But, when there is an abundance of sebum, the follicles become a harbor for acne-causing bacteria.
How it works - By generating a quick heat pulse into the infected pore, the bacteria found there is neutralized by the heat. This is done by placing the ThermaClear device on a pimple, and then pressing a pulse button for the duration of a couple of seconds.
According to a customer “The ‘zap’ does take a little getting used to, but no beauty without pain, right?” Hopefully the pulsing heat is something you can handle. According to other similar hand-held zit-zapping devices the most noticeable side effect is a red mark which usually lasts around 20 minutes, depending on the type of skin you have.
The Big Bucks - Obviously the technology required for a device small enough to hold in your hand which heats up to hot yet safe enough temperatures, is not going to come without its cost. The cost for the ThermaClear is $149.95. Additional products are sold such as a ThermaClear replacement tip for $19.95 and additional cleansing pads for when you’re on the go for $9.95. In summary, the ThermaClear acne treatment is not cheap.
Conclusion - If you are one to throw money around, I’d say give it a shot - that way, even if it doesn’t work for you, you’re only down one-hundred-and-fifty bucks. On the other hand, if you’re like me and the wallets a little tight - try something else.
