Triclear

Triclear is composed of “proprietary” components consisting of ingredients with a patented sustained-release delivery system.  This type of delivery system is called QuSomes and is used to penetrate deeper into the skin which works to target and treat acne at its source.

Triclear consists of a three-part process: Cleanse, Clear, and Prevent.

-Cleanse - The purifying cleanser is used to lift out oil, dead skin cells, dirt, and other impurities which clog skin pores and follicles.

-Clear - The second stage, clear, uses a repairing gel to absorb and inhibit oil production for a less greasy appearance.  The gel is also used to bind to excess oil, dirt, and other impurities which are deep within the pores.

-Prevent -The prevention comes in the form of a cream which is used to clear existing acne and help to prevent future breakouts.  Also works to exfoliate the skin and fight against acne throughout the day.

Autoship Program - The TriClear website heavily promotes a “free-trial.”  By looking closely into this promotion it is seen that this is a disguised attempt to enroll you in their autoship program.  By only paying the shipping you’ll receive a free 60 day trial of the product, but in order to not be billed the full amount for the automatic sequential order of $99.95 (every two months), you must cancel within 30 days and return the product to the sender.  If no product is returned you will automatically be billed the ‘discounted’ price of $99.95, every two months. That equates to approximately $50 every month.

Cautions with Autoship Programs - Since any company will do what it takes to sell their product, many have swindled customers into Autoship programs where the product is automatically shipped at certain intervals in time, and consequently billed directly to the customer.  With an acne treatment, it is hoped that the use of the treatments will not be indefinite and easy cancellation or dismissal of the product is preferred.
